In this two-day theoretical seminar, Dr. Mina Jelačić MD will first show the biomechanical aspects and pathomechanism of the idiopathic scoliosis and the three-dimensional correction principles of the Rigo-Chêneau brace. She will also demonstrate the production method, with classification, model techniques, and fitting.

I am Myrthe, 14 years old and playing volleyball. I like to bake and to meet up with friends. I live in the Southern part of the Netherlands, close to Den Bosch.

While CAD/CAM was initially utilized by large aviation and automotive industry companies in the mid-1960s, this technology has long since become established in a variety of industries. It has now been available in the field of orthotics and prosthetics for about 30 years. Yet in many respects, orthopedic technology systems supported by CAD/DAM still constitute an innovative technology which is constantly being further developed. They have become an extremely valuable tool for meeting increasing requirements and minimizing time and cost pressure.
